Infertility Awareness Week: Local Resources

April 22nd through 28th is Infertility Awareness Week.

According to the CDC, 1 in 8 couples will experience difficulty getting or sustaining a pregnancy. For those with primary infertility, they are unable to get pregnant after trying to conceive for a year and secondary occurs in those who have been able to get pregnant at least once. Both can be heartbreaking.

Many people struggling with infertility experience sadness, frustration, anger, depression and disappointment. Friends and family can provide emotional resources but talking with those also experiencing infertility can be especially helpful.

Here are some resources to help you along your journey.
